MATERIALS
- Wooden board with two rows of six pits
- Small seeds or dried beans
MEASUREMENTS
2 rows of 6 pits, filled with an equal number of seeds per pit at the start
HOW TO PLAY
1
Start with an equal number of seeds in every pit on the board.
2
On your turn, scoop all seeds from one of your own pits and sow them one at a time into the following pits, moving counterclockwise.
3
If your last sown seed lands in your own pit that already has one seed, gather that pit's seeds and continue sowing from there.
4
If your last seed lands in an empty pit on your side, your turn ends immediately.
5
If your last seed lands in an opponent's pit, capture those seeds when the resulting count qualifies under the agreed capture rule.
6
Play continues until one player's row is empty; the other player collects any remaining seeds and totals are compared to find the winner.
