Ganggangsullae

Join hands with the group to form a large circle.

Move in a circle, stepping in rhythm while a lead singer calls out a line and the group answers with a shared refrain.

Gradually increase the pace of the circling and singing as the round continues.

Periodically the leader may call out a variation, such as weaving the circle into a spiral or forming smaller sub-circles, for everyone to follow.

Continue circling, singing, and varying formations for as long as the group likes, traditionally used to celebrate a full moon or harvest.
