A tabletop or drawn field roughly 1m x 1.5m works well, with small goal lines marked at each short end.

HOW TO PLAY
1

Each player arranges their eleven buttons across their half of the field in a rough formation, similar to a football lineup.

2

Players take turns flicking one of their buttons with a finger to strike the small ball button, trying to move it toward the opponent's goal.

3

A button may only touch the ball once per turn, after which play passes to the opponent regardless of where the ball ends up.

4

If a player's flick causes the ball to cross into the opposing goal line, a goal is scored and play resets to the middle of the field.

5

Buttons that get knocked out of bounds are placed back onto the nearest boundary line before the next turn begins.

6

The match continues for an agreed number of turns or minutes, and the side with more goals when time expires wins.
