- A tall smooth pole
- Cooking oil or grease to coat the pole
- A small prize or flag attached at the top
- Sand or mats placed at the base for safety
MEASUREMENTS
Pole 10-15 feet tall
HOW TO PLAY

Coat the pole generously with grease before play begins and secure the prize firmly at the top.

Climbers attempt to scale the pole using only their arms and legs, gripping wherever they can find traction.

Climbers may work in teams, with sturdier members boosting a lighter climber partway up.
4
Anyone who slides back down must start their climb over from the base.

The first climber to reach the top and grab the prize wins for themselves or their team.
