Euchre

Deal five cards to each player and turn the next card face up to suggest a trump suit.

Players in turn may accept that suit as trump, pass, or later name a different trump suit.

The jack of the trump suit and the same-color jack become the two highest trump cards.

Play five tricks per hand, following suit when possible and using trump to win otherwise.

A partnership scores points for tricks won, with bonus points for winning all five tricks in a hand.
