MATERIALS
- A three-walled court with a central buttress
- a soft rubber ball
- padded leather gloves
HOW TO PLAY
1
Players wear padded gloves instead of rackets and strike the ball with an open or cupped hand.
2
One player serves by hitting the ball onto the front wall so it rebounds into play beyond the center line.
3
Players alternate returning the ball onto the front wall before it bounces twice, using the side walls and the buttress to create tricky angles.
4
A point is lost if a player fails to return the ball onto the front wall in time or sends it outside the court boundaries.
5
Games are played to an agreed points total, typically eleven or fifteen, and must be won by two clear points.
