MATERIALS
- Chalk
- A small stone or marker to toss
MEASUREMENTS
A spiral of 10-14 numbered squares drawn in a coiling snail-shell shape, roughly 6-8ft (2-2.5m) across.
HOW TO PLAY
1
Draw a spiral of numbered squares coiling inward like a snail's shell, ending in a larger "home" square at the center.
2
The first player hops on one foot through the numbered squares in order, following the spiral path to the center.
3
Touch down with both feet only in the home square to rest, then hop back out the way you came.
4
Stepping on a line or losing balance ends that player's turn where they stand.
5
Players take turns, picking up where they left off on their next go if playing the elimination-free version.
6
The first player to complete the full spiral in and out wins the round.
