Ephedrismos

Draw a line on the ground and set a small target stone just beyond it.

Both players take turns tossing a stone or ball at the target from behind the line.

Whoever's toss lands farther from the target carries the winner piggyback while the winner tries to touch or knock down the target.

The carrier dodges and maneuvers so the rider cannot easily reach the target.

Switch roles each round; agree beforehand how many rounds make up a full match.
