English Pub Skittles

Nine pins are set upright at one end of a narrow alley or table lane.

Each player takes a turn throwing or rolling the wooden cheese down the lane to knock down as many pins as possible.

Fallen pins are counted and reset before the next player's turn.

Some versions allow a second throw per turn to knock down any pins still standing.

Players or teams add up their pin counts across several rounds, and the highest total score wins.
