HOW TO PLAY
1
Draw a hopscotch pattern of connected squares on the ground, often ending in a rounded section representing a resting spot.
2
Toss the marker into the first square, then hop through the pattern on one foot, avoiding the square where the marker landed.
3
Land with both feet together only where two squares sit side by side, hopping single-footed everywhere else.
4
Pause briefly in the resting section to turn around before hopping the entire course back the other direction.
5
Scoop up the marker on the way through its square without losing balance, then advance it to the next square for the following turn.
