El Escondite Cubano

One player is chosen to count aloud with eyes closed against a wall or tree marked as base.

All other players scatter and hide within the agreed play area while counting continues.

Once counting ends, the seeker searches for hidden players while guarding the base.

Hidden players may dash out and touch base to be declared safe before being spotted and named.

The first player spotted and named by the seeker becomes the next counter.
