Drop the Handkerchief

Players form a circle facing inward while one player, the dropper, walks around the outside holding a handkerchief.

The circle chants a simple rhyme together while the dropper circles them at least once.

The dropper secretly drops the handkerchief directly behind one player without being noticed right away.

That player must spot the handkerchief, snatch it up, and chase the dropper around the circle.

If the dropper makes it back to the chaser's empty spot first, the chaser becomes the new dropper.

If the chaser tags the dropper before reaching the spot, the original dropper takes another turn.
