Dou Dizhu (Fight the Landlord)

Deal all cards evenly among three players, setting a small extra hand aside as the hidden kitty.

Bid for the right to become the landlord, who takes the kitty cards and plays alone against the other two.

The landlord leads by playing a valid combination, such as a pair, a straight, or a bomb.

Each following player must beat the last combination with a stronger one of the same type, or pass.

The round ends the moment any player empties their hand, settling the score between the landlord and the paired opponents.

Rotate who bids for landlord each round and keep playing toward an agreed target score.
