Doña Blanca

Choose one player to be "Doña Blanca," who stands inside a ring formed by the other players holding hands.

Choose another player to be the "jicotillo," who circles outside the ring trying to break through.

The ring of players walks in a circle while singing a call-and-response verse asking who will guard Doña Blanca.

The jicotillo tries to slip between joined hands or dash into the ring to reach Doña Blanca while the ring players work together to block the gaps.

If the jicotillo gets through and tags Doña Blanca, that round ends and new players are chosen for the two roles.

Restart the song and repeat with the newly chosen players.
