Diu Shoujuan (Throw the Handkerchief)

Players sit in a circle facing inward while one player, the runner, walks around the outside holding the handkerchief.

The runner secretly drops the handkerchief behind a seated player without anyone noticing, then keeps walking as if nothing happened.

Seated players occasionally reach behind themselves to check if the handkerchief has landed there.

If a player discovers the handkerchief behind them, they jump up and chase the runner around the circle, trying to tag them before they reach the empty spot.

If caught, the runner keeps their role; if not, the chaser becomes the new runner for the next round.
