- Music with a strong, steady drumbeat is optional but helpful
HOW TO PLAY
1
Everyone lines up shoulder to shoulder, linking arms or hands to form one long line.

The leader at one end of the line calls out or demonstrates a simple stomping footwork pattern for everyone to copy.

The whole line moves together in rhythm, stepping and stomping in time with the leader's pattern.

Every so often the leader introduces a slightly trickier step, and anyone who falls out of step drops to the back of the line.

Keep adding new steps and speeding up the tempo until only a few dancers can still keep up with the leader.
