MATERIALS
- A rubber ball
- A street curb or raised edge
HOW TO PLAY
1
The pitcher stands across the street and throws the ball at the edge of the curb, aiming to hit the corner squarely.
2
A ball that strikes the curb's point and pops into the air counts as a hit for the batting side, with distance determining single, double, triple, or home run.
3
A ball that misses the curb or that the fielding team catches on the fly or after one bounce counts as an out.
4
Fielders spread across the street and sidewalk to catch the ball before it lands or bounces twice.
5
Teams switch between throwing and fielding after three outs, keeping score the way baseball innings are counted.
6
The team with more runs after the agreed number of innings wins.
