Crokinole
- A round wooden Crokinole board with a recessed scoring center and raised peg ring
- Wooden discs in two or four colors
- A shaker of talc or wax powder for the board surface
A regulation board is about 26 inches across, with concentric scoring rings and a small peg fence around the central 20-point hole.
Players sit around the board and take turns flicking their discs with a finger from the outer edge toward the scoring rings in the center.
A shot must knock at least one opponent disc off the board or land past the outer scoring line, otherwise the shooter's own disc is removed.
Discs landing in progressively smaller rings score more points, with the small central hole worth the highest value if a disc drops all the way in.
Turns alternate between opponents (or between teams in four-player games) until all discs from both sides have been played in that round.
At the end of the round, each side's discs remaining on the board are scored, with higher-ring discs canceling out lower ones from the other side.
Rounds repeat until a side reaches an agreed target score, such as 100 points, and that side wins the game.
