Coyotes y Gallinas (Mexican Coyote and Hens)
- Nothing needed
One player is chosen as the coyote, another as the mother hen, and the rest of the group forms a line behind the mother hen, each holding the waist of the player in front.
The coyote stands facing the mother hen and calls out asking to see her chicks, and the mother hen answers with a playful excuse to stall.
After a short back-and-forth exchange of questions, the coyote suddenly darts side to side trying to tag the last chick in the line.
The mother hen spreads her arms and moves to block the coyote, while the whole line of chicks swings and shifts together to keep the last chick out of reach.
If the coyote manages to tag the last chick, that chick is caught and steps out of the line, or in some versions becomes the new coyote.
The game continues with new rounds until only a few chicks remain or the group decides to stop and reset with new roles.
