Conkers

DIFFICULTY
SETTING
Outdoor
MATERIALS
- A horse chestnut (conker) per player
- A length of string threaded through each conker
HOW TO PLAY
1
Thread a string through a hole in each conker and knot it so the conker hangs securely at one end.
2
One player holds their conker still, dangling from the string, while the other wraps their own string around their hand and swings their conker to strike it.
3
Players alternate turns striking each other's conker, trying to crack or break it.
4
If the strings tangle, either player may call "strings" to get a free extra hit.
5
The game continues until one conker is destroyed; the surviving conker's player wins that match.
