MATERIALS
- A carved wooden boat-shaped board with two rows of holes and a store at each end
- Small shells or seeds
HOW TO PLAY

Fill every hole except the two end stores with an equal number of shells at the start of the game.

On a turn, scoop all shells from one of your own holes and sow them one by one into the following holes and your own store, skipping the opponent's store.

If the last shell lands in your own store, you earn a free turn; if it lands in an empty hole on your side, you capture the shells opposite it.

If the last shell lands in a hole that already has shells, continue sowing from that hole without stopping.
5
Play continues until one side's holes are empty; each player then adds any remaining shells on their side to their store, and the higher total wins.
