- A djembe drum or any hand drum
- Optional: shakers for the group
HOW TO PLAY
1
One player is chosen as the lead drummer and plays a short rhythmic phrase.
2
The rest of the group claps or plays back the exact same phrase.
3
The lead drummer gradually adds more complex patterns each round.
4
Anyone who claps the wrong pattern sits out that round.
5
The lead drummer role rotates to the last player remaining, and the game continues.
