MATERIALS
- Colored ribbons, cards, or flags, one color assigned per small group of players
HOW TO PLAY

Assign each player a color by handing out a matching ribbon or card, dividing the group into a few color teams.

Have all the players spread out and pretend to be cars, moving around a marked play area making engine sounds.

The caller stands to one side holding up different colored flags or cards one at a time.

Only the players whose color is currently being held up may keep moving; everyone else must freeze in place like a parked car.

The caller switches the raised color every few seconds, so players must watch closely and react quickly to start or stop moving.

Rotate who gets to be the caller after a few rounds so different players get a turn directing the traffic.
