Colombo Kandyan Drum Beat Follow

A lead drummer plays a short rhythmic pattern on a hand drum.

All other players must respond with a specific dance step assigned to that rhythm.

The drummer switches between two or three learned rhythms in random order.

Anyone who performs the wrong step for the rhythm played is out.

The last dancer correctly matching every rhythm change wins.
