Cirulla
- 40-card Italian-suited deck
Deal a hand of cards to each player and set the rest of the deck aside as a draw pile.
Before playing a card to a trick, a player may first lay down a qualifying combination from their hand, such as a run of three or more cards, or three of a kind, to score bonus points.
Play tricks in turn, following the led suit when possible, with the highest card of the led suit winning unless a priority card changes the outcome.
Certain high cards score extra points specifically when they are the very last card played in a trick, rewarding careful timing.
After each trick, players draw back up to their starting hand size from the draw pile until it runs out.
Total each player's combination bonuses and trick points once the hand is fully played, and play multiple hands toward an agreed target score.
