MATERIALS
- A small tapered wooden peg
- A longer wooden batting stick
- A starting square drawn on the ground
HOW TO PLAY
1
Set the small tapered peg on the ground near the edge of a chalked starting square.
2
Tap the low end of the peg with your batting stick to flip it up into the air.
3
Swing the batting stick to hit the peg while it is still in the air, sending it flying outward.
4
Opponents can try to catch the peg before it touches the ground to end your turn.
5
If it lands, measure the distance from the square; the player with the longest total distance after several rounds wins.
