MATERIALS
- A homemade paper or plastic kite per player, built from thin sticks and lightweight material
- Kite string
HOW TO PLAY
1
Build a simple diamond-shaped kite from thin sticks and lightweight paper or plastic, tying on a tail for stability.
2
Launch kites into open air, giving each flyer enough space to maneuver without tangling right away.
3
Once kites are steady in the air, flyers try to maneuver their string against an opponent's string, aiming to cross and tangle it.
4
Work the kite in loops and dips to try to pull the opponent's kite off balance or force their string to slip free first.
5
A flyer is out if their kite is pulled from their hands, crashes, or their string comes loose.
6
The last flyer with their kite still under control wins the duel.
