Chili Cook-Off Blind Taste

Each cook prepares a pot of chili and submits it under a number instead of their name.

Set up a tasting table with small cups so guests can sample a spoonful from each numbered pot.

Guests move down the table, tasting each chili in turn and noting their impressions on a ballot.

Guests score or rank the entries on categories such as flavor, heat level, and texture without knowing who made which pot.

Collect all ballots and tally the scores for each entry number.

Reveal the cook behind each number only after the winning entry is announced.
