HOW TO PLAY

Partners face each other, each holding a handkerchief raised in one hand.

Dancers circle one another in a flirtatious pattern, waving the handkerchief in time with the music.

On each musical phrase, partners advance, retreat, and turn in mirrored figures without ever fully touching.

Watching guests clap the beat and call out encouragement to keep the dancers energized.

When the music ends, the pair finishes with a flourish, and a new pair steps up for the next song.
