Chat Perché (French Elevated Tag)

Choose one player to be the tagger ('chat') and set clear boundaries for the play area.

Other players are safe from being tagged whenever both feet are off the ground, such as standing on a bench, step, or low wall.

Players must keep moving between safe spots rather than staying on one indefinitely, based on house rules agreed beforehand.

The tagger chases players across the ground level, trying to tag someone before they reach an elevated safe spot.

Whoever is tagged while on the ground becomes the new tagger for the next round.
