- Paint, chalk, or ribbons to decorate the cart (optional)
- A marked race course
HOW TO PLAY

Optionally decorate each team's cart with bright colors and patterns, echoing the painted oxcarts of Costa Rican tradition.

Assign one player per team to sit in or hold the cart while the rest of the team pulls or pushes it.

Line up all carts at the starting point of the course.

On the signal, teams guide their cart along the course, navigating any turns or obstacles marked out.

Teams must keep their cart moving steadily, since tipping the cart means stopping to reset it before continuing.

The first team to guide their cart across the finish line wins.
