Bourre

Each player antes an equal amount of chips into the pot before the deal.

Deal five cards to each player, then turn the next card to reveal the trump suit.

Players may discard unwanted cards and draw replacements from the remaining deck before play begins.

Players lead and follow suit if able, with the highest card of the suit led, or the highest trump, winning each trick.

Any player who fails to win a single trick is "bourréd" and must match the full pot for the next hand, while players who win at least one trick split the pot according to how many tricks they won.
