Botticelli (Word Game)
- Nothing needed
- Optional: pen and paper for notes
One player secretly thinks of a well-known person and reveals only the first letter of that person's last name.
The other players take turns naming a real person whose last name starts with that same letter, then ask an indirect question relating to that famous person to make the answerer guess who they mean.
The answerer must correctly name the person implied by the question, or admit they cannot, before responding.
If the answerer cannot identify the person from the clue, the questioner may instead ask a direct yes-or-no question about the secret person.
If the answerer correctly identifies the guesser's implied person, they deflect the turn without giving any information away.
The game ends when a player correctly guesses the secret person's full identity through a direct question, and that player wins.
