- A thick book
- Paper and pen to record the score
HOW TO PLAY
1
Assign each digit from zero to nine an outcome, such as runs scored or a batter being out, agreed on before starting.
2
One player closes their eyes and flips open the book to a random page.
3
Read the last digit of the right-hand page number and apply its assigned outcome to the batting team.
4
Continue flipping pages for each "ball" until the agreed number of outs ends that team's innings.
5
Switch roles so the other player's team bats through the same process.
6
Compare total runs scored by each team's innings; the higher score wins the match.
