DIFFICULTY
SETTING

MATERIALS
- A set of heavy metal or wooden bowling balls per team
- A small target ball ('mingo')
MEASUREMENTS
Dirt court roughly 15-20m long.
HOW TO PLAY
1
Toss the small target ball ('mingo') to a random spot down the court to start the round.
2
Players take turns rolling or tossing their larger balls, trying to land as close to the mingo as possible.
3
Balls can also be used to knock an opponent's ball away from the mingo or to nudge the mingo itself to a new position.
4
Once all balls have been thrown, measure which team's closest ball is nearest to the mingo.
5
Award points to the closer team based on how many of their balls are nearer than the opponent's closest ball; play multiple rounds to an agreed total.
