Boi-Bumba Story Circle

Assign a few players character roles from a simple folk story, such as the ox, a farmer, and a curious villager.

The narrator tells the story aloud in short chunks while the costumed players act out each part as it is described.

The rest of the group forms a ring around the action, clapping and calling out responses at key moments in the story.

When the ox falls, the whole group must chant together to help bring the character back to life and continue the tale.

Rotate the character roles to new players and retell the story with fresh actors.
