Boerenbridge

Deal all fifty-two cards evenly among the four players, thirteen each.

Each player, in turn, bids the number of tricks they expect to win during the hand, with no suit or partnership required.

The player to the dealer's left leads the first card, and there is no fixed trump suit unless the group agrees to add one.

Players must follow suit when able, and the highest card of the suit led wins each trick.

After all thirteen tricks are played, each player scores points if they won exactly the number of tricks they bid, and the running totals decide the overall winner after several hands.
