- A tennis ball or small rubber ball
- A wooden stick or bat
- Markers for bases
HOW TO PLAY
1
Mark out a small diamond or set of bases sized to fit the available street or lot.
2
The pitcher tosses the ball underhand toward the batter, who tries to hit it into open space.
3
After a fair hit, the batter runs the bases while fielders chase down the ball.
4
Fielders can record an out by catching a fly ball, tagging a runner, or throwing the ball to hit a base before the runner arrives, depending on house rules.
5
Teams switch between batting and fielding after three outs, following an inning structure similar to baseball.
6
The team with more runs after the agreed number of innings wins.
