Basket Weaving Race

Give each player a basket frame template and a bundle of colored paper or ribbon strips.

On "go," players race to weave their strips over and under to build a simple woven pattern.

Secure loose ends with glue or tape once the weaving pattern is complete.

Judges check finished baskets for sturdiness and neatness, not just speed.

The first player to finish a sturdy, well-woven basket wins.
