HOW TO PLAY
1
Players agree on an order of several short contracts to play in sequence, such as avoiding certain cards, avoiding taking any tricks, or avoiding the last trick.
2
For each contract, cards are dealt evenly and players take turns playing a card, following suit when able, with the highest card of the led suit winning the trick.
3
Depending on the active contract, players try either to avoid or to deliberately collect specific cards or tricks, since each contract rewards or penalizes different outcomes.
4
Penalty and bonus points for each contract are recorded on paper after every hand.
5
Once every contract has been played once, the player with the fewest total penalty points wins the match.
