MATERIALS
- A tennis ball
- A cricket bat or flat plank
- A stack of stones or a bucket as a wicket
HOW TO PLAY
1
Set a stack of stones or a bucket as the wicket at one end of an open beach or yard space.
2
One player bats while another bowls the ball toward the wicket.
3
The batter tries to hit the ball away and score runs by making it to a marked point and back before fielders retrieve the ball.
4
Knocking over the wicket or having a hit ball caught in the air gets the batter out.
5
Rotate the batter after a set number of overs; the player with the most runs when time is called wins.
