Deal the cards evenly among four players seated across from their partner.

Bidding decides whether the round is played in a suit contract or a special no-trump style round.

Players take turns playing one card each to a trick, following the led suit when possible.

The highest card of the led suit, or the highest trump if any trumps are played, wins the trick for that team.

Certain card combinations held before play, like sequences, earn bonus points when declared.

After all cards are played, add up trick points and declared bonuses; the team with the higher score wins the hand.
