Bakiak
- One or more pairs of long wooden sandals with several foot straps attached, shared by a team
- A marked race track
A team of three or more players lines up single file, with each player sliding one foot into a strap on a shared pair of long wooden sandals.
Before starting, the team briefly practices calling out a marching rhythm, such as 'left, right', to coordinate their steps.
At the starting signal, the team must move together toward the finish line, stepping in unison since the sandals only move when everyone lifts and places the correct foot together.
If any player loses their footing or the sandal comes off, the whole team must stop and reset before continuing.
Teams often race side by side against other teams on parallel tracks, adding pressure to stay synchronized while moving quickly.
The first team to cross the finish line while still wearing their shared sandals is declared the winner.
