Bagh-Chal
- Board printed with a grid of intersecting lines and diagonals
- 4 tiger tokens
- 20 goat tokens
Give one player the four tiger tokens, placed on the four corners of the board, and give the other player all twenty goat tokens to place one at a time.
While goats are still being placed, tigers may move one step along a line to an adjacent point or jump over a goat into an empty point beyond to capture it.
Once all twenty goats are placed, the goat player begins sliding goats one step at a time along the lines to adjacent empty points.
Tigers keep hunting by jumping over any goat that leaves a clear empty landing point beyond it in a straight line.
The goat player tries to block every possible tiger jump by surrounding the tigers with goats so they cannot move.
Tigers win by capturing five goats, while goats win by trapping all four tigers so none can move or jump.
