One player controls two tiger tokens placed on marked starting points, while the other player controls a set of goat tokens placed off the board.

The goat player enters goats onto empty points one at a time on their turn.

The tiger player slides a tiger along the drawn lines and may jump over an adjacent goat into an empty point beyond to capture it.

Once all goats have entered, the goat player may instead slide a goat along a line to an adjacent empty point.

The goats aim to block both tigers from any legal move, while the tigers aim to capture enough goats to keep moving freely.
