- A bat
- A soft ball
- A makeshift wicket (bin, chair, or stumps)
HOW TO PLAY
1
Set up a makeshift wicket and agree on informal boundaries for the yard or park.
2
One batter defends the wicket while the rest of the players field and bowl in turn.
3
Under the "one hand, one bounce" rule, a catch made after a single bounce with one hand also gets the batter out.
4
A ball hit over the boundary on the full scores extra runs, while hitting a fixed obstacle like a fence may end the batter's turn under house rules.
5
Rotate the batter after they're out, or after a set number of balls, until everyone has had a turn.
