MATERIALS
- A wooden board with two rows of six pits
- 48 small seeds, beans, or pebbles
HOW TO PLAY
1
Set up the board with four seeds in each of the twelve pits.
2
On your turn, pick up all seeds from one pit on your own row and sow them one by one into consecutive pits going counter-clockwise.
3
If your last seed lands in an opponent's pit that then holds two or three seeds, capture all seeds from that pit.
4
Captures can chain backward through consecutive pits as long as each also ends at two or three seeds.
5
Continue taking turns until one side's row is empty; each player then adds any remaining seeds on their own side to their own store.
6
Whoever has captured the most seeds overall wins the game.
