Loop the string around your fingers in a starting pattern, such as looping it across both hands.

Use your fingers, and sometimes teeth or toes, to pluck, hook, and pull specific strands to transform the pattern into a new shape.

Name each finished shape after the animal, tool, or scene it resembles, following traditional figures passed down through storytelling.

Take turns showing off different figures, or pass the string to another player to continue into a new figure.

Challenge others to guess what each shape represents before you say its name.

Practice transitioning smoothly between figures to build a story told entirely through the changing string.
