MATERIALS
- A hand axe or hatchet
- A round wooden target board with scoring rings
MEASUREMENTS
Throwing line set 12-15 ft (3.5-4.5m) from the target.
HOW TO PLAY

Stand behind the throwing line facing the wooden target board.

Grip the axe with both hands and raise it back behind your head.

Step forward and release the axe in one smooth overhead motion so the blade rotates and sticks into the target.

Score points based on which ring the axe head lands in, with the bullseye worth the most.

Retrieve the axe carefully only when it is safe to approach the target.
6
Total each thrower's scores across an agreed number of throws to find the winner.
