DIFFICULTY
SETTING
Both
MATERIALS
- Four flat wooden sticks marked on one side
- A circular stone track with marked stations
- Small playing pieces (traditionally awls or sticks) for each player
HOW TO PLAY
1
Arrange stones or markers in a large circle to form the track, with certain stations marked as hazards or bonuses.
2
Each player places a piece at the starting station on the circular track.
3
On your turn, toss the four marked sticks; the number landing marked-side up tells you how many stations to advance.
4
Landing exactly on a station already occupied by an opponent's piece sends that piece back to the start.
5
Landing on a hazard station without the right combination sends your own piece backward instead.
6
The first player to carry their piece all the way around the track back to the starting point wins.
